Chicago Blackhawks vs Detroit Red Wings Game 5 Predictions
May 27, 2009
Tonight is do-or-die night for the Chicago Blackhawks, as they find themselves in a 3-1 series hole and facing elimination tonight against the Detroit Red Wings in the Motor City. Without the services of G Nikolai Khabibulin, the Hawks were decimated on their home ice by the Wings by the count of 6-1 on Sunday afternoon to give Detroit the comfortable advantage. He’ll probably be out once again tonight, though HC Joel Quenneville hasn’t totally ruled out his starting goaltender. After the embarrassing...
Magic Up 3-1 On Cavs In Eastern Conference Finals
May 27, 2009
Just an amazing, amazing game. The first half saw the Cleveland Cavaliers finally getting some contributions from the not-LeBrons. Mo Williams struggled with his shot, but got to the line and made free throws. Ben Wallace was a strong defensive presence and Delonte West played great on both ends, including a few nice moves in the deep post. Rafer Alston kept the Orlando Magic in the game, as the Cavs continually cheated off of him and he kept draining triples and taking it to the hoop. The Cavs went...

The month of June is almost here, meaning that baseball betting is about to become king for the summer! Check out BetUS Sportsbook’s list of the top $$$ pitchers the National League has to offer heading into Memorial Day! 1) Eric Stults, Los Angeles Dodgers (6-1, +$553) (LW: 1) A thumb injury has set Stults back a few days for his next start. Perhaps it’s good for the young lefty, as he is probably still trying to recover from throwing 123 pitches two starts ago. Look for him to be back on the...

Pittsburgh Pirates at Chicago Cubs Picks & Betting Odds
May 26, 2009
Pittsburgh Pirates vs. Chicago Cubs 8:05 ET – It’s tough to be a fan of the Chicago Cubs (21-22, -$645) right now after the ballclub lost its eighth straight game in the first of its three game set with the Pittsburgh Pirates (21-24, +$101) last night. The defeat dropped the Cubs to a game under .500 for the first time since late April, and they’ve now lost eight games in a row for the first time since 2002. MLB bettors backing the Cubs during that stretch have gotten killed (-$1042), and...
Lakers at Nuggets Game 4 Recap
May 26, 2009
Carmelo Anthony was throwing up into a garbage can 15 minutes before the game started. His line in the box score was equally sick, but not in the good way. He went 3-16 and scored only 15 points. Oh yeah, and the Nuggets won easily, 120-101. “Supporting cast” is the catch phrase of this year’s playoffs, and it couldn’t have been more appropriate this game. Everyone around ‘Melo stepped up while he was down: seven Nuggets scored in double figures, and Denver got 42 points from their bench. Kobe...
