Motivation will decide tonight’s game between the Lakers and Bobcats.  The Lakers have already clinched division and conference titles and while a Phil Jackson coached team would never be never be accused of “coasting”, getting and keeping players healthy for the playoffs is the top priority for the Zen master.  Meanwhile Charlotte is one of those teams that seemingly have the Lakers number winning five of their last six outings against LA. The Bobcats are also in the playoff chase in the Eastern Conference trailing Chicago by two games for the 8th and final playoff spot.  The Lakers are coming off their worst performance of the year in Atlanta. That game saw the Lakers finish with just 76 points, 31 points below their season average.  While the Lakers would love to clinch the best record in the league, you can expect the starters to log fewer minutes as they prepare for the post-season.
