Mets +107

Game Analysis: Free Pick from Doc’s Sports. Take 915 N.Y. Mets at L.A. Dodgers (10 pm ET) – If I was setting the odds here I would have the Mets as quite solid favorites. The Mets are playing lousy baseball right now, but outside of their last two wins the Dodgers aren’t exactly tearing things up either. What I really like here is the play of Johan Santana recently. He is pitching as well now as he has in more than a year and the team plays with a tremendous amount of confidence behind him – despite their struggles they have won his last three starts. He has had one outing against the Dodgers this year and it went very well. Vicente Padilla answers for the Dodgers. He has been strong recently as well, but it seems less sustainable – he walked five batters while just striking out one last time out, so his control isn’t what I would like it to be. Doc’s Sports has been tearing up the books this week and now is the time to jump on board their MLB Friday Card.

PROJECTED FORECAST: 2* Texas Rangers 5 Los Angeles Angels 1
