Since 1997, college basketball’s national champion has come from several different conferences: the Pac 10 (Arizona), SEC (Kentucky and Florida), Big 10 (Michigan State), the ACC (Duke, Maryland, North Carolina), Nig 12 (Kansas) and the Big East (UConn, Syracuse). 1. Virginia Tech Hokies – Have to like what this team returns. A veteran QB in Tyrod Taylor and pair of explosive RBs in Ryan Williams and Darren Evans. Coach Beamer will have the week run defense up to snuff and this team must be looked at as a dark-horse BCS Title contender. The countdown continues! Last week we looked at my Top 21-40, this week is my Top 20. The college football season kicks off September 2nd and here’s a look at college football’s best! 20.
