On Thursday the MLB Diamond Cutter play is on the KC Royals. Game 920 at 8:10 eastern. The Royals fit a solid system here tonight that wins by an average 7-3 score. What we want to do is play on certain home favorites that scored 4 or less runs as a home dog vs an opponent off a road dog loss that had 4 or less hits. Baltimore has been terrible yet again this month losing 17 of 24 games. When installed as a road dog in this range they are 15-33. Over the past 7 games they are averaging just 2.5 runs per game. Tonight they have Matusz making the start and he has been hit hard over his last 3 outings with a 12.10 era. The Royals counter with K.Davies on the mound tonight. Though Davies has been subpar most of the year, he did shut down Baltimore back in May allowing just 2 runs in 6 innings back in May. Look for the Royals to take game one of the series tonight. On Thursday the NL West game is on the SD. Padres. Game 910 at 6:35 eastern. The Padres fit a tremendous 18-2 system that plays on certain home favorites off a win after scoring 5 or more runs with 10 or more men left on base, vs an opponent off a road loss, scoring 2 or less. The Padres have a big pitching edge with Latos over Padilla. Latos has a fine 2.23 home era, while the Dodgers have lot 5 of Padillas 6 road starts and he has a subpar 5.18 road era. LA has struggled at the plate averaging just 2 runs per game while hitting less than .200 the past week. In day games the Dodgers are only scoring 3.4 runs per game.
