| David Price has quickly worked his way into the elite pitchers in the game, and sports a sub 3 ERA in the AL which is hard to do. He is even tougher at home where he is 6-2 with an ERA of 2.04. The Tigers’ Ricky Porcello, after a tremendous rookie campaign, has found the going tough, pitching to a 5.55 ERA on the season. The road has not been his friend where his ERA tops off at 7.55. The Tigers are 19-45 in their last 64 as a road dog, including 1-8 behind Porcello. The Rays are 17-6 behind Price in his last 23 starts. I'll go with Tampa. | ||

| The Mets are shell shocked right now. The offense, which was producing just 2 runs per game for a 16-game stretch came to life last night, scoring 4 in the eighth to tie the game, only to go on to lose anyway in extra innings. R.A. Dickey has exceeded expectations for the Mets, but he does have some ugly numbers against the Cardinals and despite the good numbers, the Mets are 0-6 in his last six starts. The Cards seem to be at their best vs. teams with a winning record where they are now 8-2 in their last 10. I'll go with St. Louis here. | ||

| Based on nearly 20 years of research and practice, I have developed a consistent successful method for handicapping and picking NFL, College Football, NCAA Basketball, NBA Basketball. Major League Baseball and NHL hockey games. My approach is to make educated decisions based on data, not guesses. I majored in statistics while getting my MBA from the nation's top business school as ranked by BusinessWeek (Kellogg). My professional experience includes helping run a company that utilized statistics and past behavior (predictive modeling) to predict future performance. Wunderdog analysis includes the use of statistics, power ratings, and hundreds of very high-percentage proprietary historical situational systems. The systems purposefully avoids hunches, "soft" data or personal gut opinions. We look for agreement between all of my sources which results in a few games selected, but they are the cream of the crop. |
