The NBA Playoffs begin Saturday with the defending World Champion Boston Celtics playing the Chicago Bulls. The only time that the Celtics won back to back Championships was when Bill Russell was on the team.

The only time that the Celtics won back to back Championships was when Bill Russell was on the team. Larry Bird's Celtics won three Championships but never won two in a row. For the Celtics to repeat this year is not likely as it appears Kevin Garnett is finished for the year. The ZIG/ZAG theory went 22-13-1 ATS in the first round of the Playoffs last year and it is 374-288-10 the last 12 years. For those of you don't no what the ZIG/ZAG Theory is here's how it works. The injury to the Spurs Manu Ginobili and Tim Duncan's balky knees figure to keep the Spurs out of the mix. Portland is a young talented team by lack any real playoff experience.
