Louisville enters tonight’s battle riding a four game winning streak after dropping Rutgers 78 to 66 on their home floor. Both of these teams are strong on the defensive end of the floor with the Huskies ranked third nationally one slot ahead of the Cardinals in field goal percentage defense, holding opponents to 36 percent shooting from the floor. On offense, the Huskies are led by sophomore shooting guard Jeremy Lamb who averages 17.6 points per game and in the middle freshman center Andre Drummond who averages 10.2 points per game, 7.7 rebounds per game and 2.7 blocks per game. The Cardinals have been extremely strong defending close to the basket but they are vulnerable from behind the arc allowing teams to average better than 33 percent from three-point land. Connecticut is 17-7 ATS as an underdog the last 3 seasons. The Huskies are 19-8 ATS after a game where they covered the spread over the last 2 seasons. Connecticut is 8-1 ATS in road games after two straight games with 12 or less assists over the last 3 seasons.
