Memphis Grizzlies vs. San Antonio Spurs
San Antonio Spurs
-5-110
  at  BETUS

$110.0
The Spurs are playing at at a very high level right now. San Antonio possesses one of the best ever playoff game strategist in head coach Greg Popovich. Popovich is head and shoulders better at making game to game as well as in game adjustments at playoff time than his adversary Lionel Hollins. In addition and more importantly the Spurs have a huge advantage in playoff experience over the Grizzlies especially when you get this deep into the playoffs. This is the first time the Grizzlies have advanced to the conference finals in franchise history while it has become almost an annual tradition for the Spurs. San Antonio is a perfect 5-0 SU&ATS in their last 5 games as a favorite with a total of 189.5 or less. The Spurs have won those 5 games by a whopping 21.2 points per game.

Any home favorite of 3.5 to 9.5 that averages 99 or more points per game, and they've allowed 40 points or less in the first half of each of their last 2 games is 37-13 ATS (74%) since the start of the 1996-1997 season. Play on the San Antonio Spurs minus the points as a 10* Best Bet selection.

Los Angeles Kings vs. San Jose Sharks
San Jose Sharks

The Sharks have been stellar at home this season in going a very profitable 20-7 on the money line. San Jose has been even better at home on the money line versus teams with a winning record going an incredible 13-2 on the year. The Kings have been the polar opposite on the road this season going a dismal 9-19 on the money line including 1-3 in the playoffs. The Kings were an even more unimpressive 2-10 on the road versus the money line this year versus opponents allowing an average of 2.55 or less goals per game.

Any home team in the 2nd half of the season with a starting goalie who has a save percentage of .915 or better, and they have had 30 or more shots on goal in each of their last 5 games is 36-5 (87.8%) on the money line since the start of the 2008-2009 season. Play on the San Jose Sharks as a 10* money line Best Bet.

Kansas City Royals vs. Houston Astros

I am going against one of my basic principles with this selection by asking a bad team to do good things for me. However there are exceptions to every rule and this one qualifies as such. The Houston starter Bud Norris has quietly excelled at home over the last few season by pitching well enough to give the Astros a chance to win on the vast majority of those outings. Norris is a respectable 3-2 in his home team starts this season with a stellar 2.70 ERA. Norris has gone a very profitable 10-3 in his team starts over the last 3 seasons as a home money line underdog of +125 or less. The Astros are 3-2 over their last 5 games with both of those losses coming by 1 run in each. The Royals are reeling right now losing 4 in a row and 11 of their last 14 which has pretty much nullified an encouraging start to the season. The Royals starter Wade Davis enters tonight in terrible form over his last 3 starts posting a lofty 6.61 ERA and 1.78 WHIP.

Any home team versus an opponent that averages 0.9 or less home runs per game, and they're coming off 3 straight 1-run losses is 37-12 (75.5%) on the money line since the start of the 1997 season. Play on the Houston Astros as a 5* money line selection.

The Reds enter tonight having won 8 of their last 10 after winning the opening game of this series 4-3 last night. The Cincinnati starter Mike Leake enters tonight in rock solid form over his last 3 starts posting a stellar 2.79 ERA. Leake has 4 career starts versus the Mets and has been superb in those outings with a 1.65 ERA. The Mets enter tonight having dropped 8 of their last 11. The Mets starter Jonathan Niese is in horrible form over his last 3 starts posting a large 9.77 ERA, a 2.04 WHIP, and walked 4 more than he struck out. The Mets are a dismal 16-44 the last 2 seasons versus opponents with a 0.5 or more run per game differential. Play on the Cincinnati Reds as a 5* selection.

Wandy Rodriguez has been lights out for the Pirates in 4 home starts this season posting an excellent 1.35 ERA, 0.69 WHIP, and an almost 8:1 strikeout to walk ratio. This will be the first start of the season for Rodriguez versus the Cubs. He did start 4 games versus Chicago last season and was brilliant in posting a 1.69 ERA, a 0.79 WHIP, and a 9:1 strikeout to walk ratio. This will be Matt Garza's 1st start of the season after spending the start of this year on the disabled list. The Cubs are a dismal 16-52 the last 2 seasons versus a starting pitcher who allows an average of 1.75 or less walks per game.

Any home team in the month of May which is coming off 3 straight Interleague games is 80-40 (66.7%) on the money line since the start of the 1997 season. Play on the Pittsburgh Pirates as a 5* money line selection.
SERVICE BIO
Ross Benjamin has made his reputation in this industry by being one of the sharpest sports handicappers of the recent decade. In professional sports handicapper Ron Raymond’s published book “50 Greatest Sports Betting Secrets” he probably says it best. “One of the most underrated handicappers in our industry and probably one of the sharpest ones I know is Ross Benjamin.” In spite of going public just 8 years ago Ross has been around the sports handicapping industry for the majority of his adult life. Starting at the age of 23 Ross broke into the business by working for one of the biggest bookmakers in Western New York. This laid the foundation that gave Ross the invaluable perspective of how lines are set, line movements, how public perception affects the line, and the uncanny ability to spot value. One of Ross’ often used phrases when speaking publicly is “if you want to be a successful sports handicapper then start by thinking like a bookmaker”. Ross is now 52 years old and has been directly involved in many capacities of the sports gaming industry for the last 29 years. However there is nothing he enjoys more than the challenge of picking winners against the point spread in football and basketball or the money line in baseball. Ross moved to South Florida in July of 2002 and his since relocated his office to Canton, Massachusetts in 2009. His stock really sky rocketed publicly after winning the 2003 Playbook Football Wise Guy contest and it has been soaring ever since. Ross swept all 3 categories of the invitational contest that consisted of 45 sports services. Ross walked away with $10,500 in real cash winnings. Ross was documented by The Sports Monitor of Oklahoma as #1 handicapper in the country on money earned during 2008 March Madness by posting a record of 29-17 (63%). In 2009 he followed that up by posting a rock solid 35-21(62%). In 2007 Ross was also #1 rated handicapper in the country on money earned in the NFL Playoffs as documented by The Sports Monitor of Oklahoma posting a stellar record of 9-2. Those selections included both the side plus the total winners in the Super Bowl on the Giants and under the total. He followed that up by going 6-3 in the 2008 NFL Playoffs. In 2005-2006 Ross was rated the #1 NHL handicapper in North America by one of the most reputable sports monitors on the web BigGuy. At that very same sports monitor in 2005-2006 Ross was rated #2 rated handicapper in the country in the NBA. In the 2003 college football season Ross was documented by Sportswire as going a remarkable 45-23 (66%).. Ross became in high demand by radio stations across the country who valued his expert opinions and analysis of upcoming games. In the 2007 football season he was heard weekly on 10 radio stations across North America. The stations include KFNS AM 590 "The Fan" in St. Louis, Missouri, WAXY AM 790 ESPN radio Miami, Florida, WHBQ AM 560 Memphis, Tennessee, WHTK AM 1280 Rochester, New York, WJOX AM 690 Birmingham. Alabama, KTIK AM 1350 ESPN radio Boise, Idaho, WJDX AM 620 Jackson, Mississippi, CKST AM 1040 Vancouver, British Columbia (aired during the Jim Rome Show), KTKR AM 760 "The Ticket" San Antonio, Texas, and KZNS AM 1280 "The Zone" Salt Lake City, Utah. He was the past host of the “The Ross Benjamin Show” on The Sports Journey Broadcast Network. Ross has shown to be very media savvy. His ability to be well versed in the world of sports above and beyond sports handicapping has made him a valuable radio commodity. Ross has authored several handicapping articles in his career some of which have appeared in national handicapping publications such as Marc Lawrence’s Playbook Magazine, Bet on Sports, and some of the major handicapping portals on the web. His August, 2006 article titled "Telling it Like it is" correctly predicted the college football 2007 BCS Championship Game between Florida and Ohio State. In that game Ross not only gave his clients Florida +7.0 as a documented TOP PLAY selection but also advised they make a money line wager on Florida to win the game outright. His Super Bowl selections the last 6 years are a documented and incredible 9-2. As opposed to many in this industry Ross has an impeccable reputation in operating with the highest degree of ethics, professionalism, and integrity. His handicapping style is not limited to one particular area but is well diversified taking into account numerous factors. As a result Ross is one of the most consistent winners in this industry today and never jeopardizes his integrity to make an extra dollar from a potential client. One conversation with Ross and you will understand the wealth of knowledge, honesty, and integrity that this true professional brings to the table.
