Our selection is on the Arizona Diamondbacks to defeat the Cincinnati Reds on Saturday at 8:10pm ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:
Cincinnati will start Rhett Lowder -- He is just 2-7 this season with an abysmal earned run average of 7.23 on the road.
The Reds are one of the worst teams in the National League when it comes to playing against other opponents within the league.
In fact, over 83 games this season in this scenario, they are just 33-50 (before friday's game).
Arizona will start Michael Soroka -- He is doing lots of damage this season after a strong WBC. He has a 1.88 earned run average at home.
The Diamondbacks have won three straight games when Soroka has pitched at home as well.

Our selection is on Chris Padilla to defeat Nasrat Haqparast on Saturday at 6:50pm ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:
Chris Padilla had been on a seven game winning streak before fighting in a draw in his most recent fight.
Six of those seven wins came via. a finish and there's definitely some fire in his veins after the draw.
Nasrat Haqparast had been on a streak of his own after he got knocked out by Quillan Salkilld in the opening round.
That's a hard opponent for everyone. But, as we've already seen before. Haqparast has lost to King Green and Dan Hooker as well.

Atlanta is on a tear at the moment with four wins over it's L5 including scoring 124 points in it's last game.
The Dream are winning 63% of their games this season when playing as a road favorite.
Phoenix is on the verge of being eliminated from a postseason position. It's just 13-23 through 36 games played.
