Our selection is on the Pittsburgh Pirates to defeat the Los Angeles Angels on Saturday at 6:40pm ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:

Los Angeles will start Yusei Kikuchi -- Before his two games in August, he hadn't pitched since April. He's continued to lose games and is 0-5.

The Angels are 14-28 this season against opponents from the National League.

Pittsburgh will start Braxton Ashcraft -- He's been the guy that's kept this team afloat with a 14-5 record and a 3.59 earned run average.

The Pirates are the opposite of the Angels, with a 23-13 record against opponents from the American League this year.

The play is on Pittsburgh.

Our selection is on the Milwaukee Brewers to defeat the Cincinnati Reds on Saturday at 6:40pm ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:

Milwaukee will start Dustin May -- He's had a bit of trouble since coming from St. Louis. But, he went six innings and allowed just a run against Cinci earlier this season.

The Brewers are 70-47 this season without having a day off between games.

They are also 24-13 against opponents within the NL Central Division this year which is the second best record in the MLB.

Cincinnati will start Andrew Abbott -- He has also had a down year, with even worse statistics at home.

The Reds have had trouble all year against divisional opponents with a 15-28 record.

Our selection is on the Appalachian State Mountaineers to defeat the Maine Black Bears on Saturday at 3:30pm ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:

Maine went 6-6 overall last season in the CAA of the FCS.

The Black Bears only fell to Liberty 28-7 in their first FBS game. But, that was a 4-8 Flames team without much going for them .

They then lost 45-17 against Georgia Southern and failed to cover the spread in that game.

Appalachian State is much improved from last year's 5-win team and has made it clear that losing season's are not acceptable.

We're on the Mountaineers to blow Maine out at home in the opener.

Our selection is on the Indiana Hoosiers to defeat the North Texas Mean Green on Saturday at 12:00pm ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:

North Texas lost all of it's start power to Oklahoma State in the transfer portal.

It's now a full rebuild for the Mean Green who were 12-2 last year.

Indiana lost some of it's top players as well. But, coach Curt Cignetti replaced most, if not all of the needed positions with talent.

The Hoosiers are being discredited again to begin this season, coming off of the undefeated season.

We're on Indiana to make a statement in the opening game .

Our selection is on the UNLV Rebels/Hawaii Rainbow Warriors game to finish OVER the total on Saturday at 10:00pm ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:

UNLV lost it's first game against Memphis as home favorites.

With a a former OU/Auburn QB Jackson Arnold, the Rebels were expected to be even better than last season's 10-4.

Tonight, UNLV has a chance to get back and win a big game on the road in Hawaii -- a big offensive performance is needed though.

Hawaii also lost it's opener, and gave up 37 points to an average Stanford team.

QB Micah Alejado returned to the team this year after making big strides.

This looks like an offensive minded game. The play is on the OVER.
