AAA Sports' Selection: Boston Celtics (ATS).
Philadelphia won back-to-back games in this series to force Game Seven. But, can it win a third in a row against Boston.
We don't think so. The Sixers are just 7-13 over the L20 games between these two teams.
They are also just 9-20 as an underdog against opponents from the Eastern Conference.
Boston has an elite 51-37 record against the spread so far this season.
The Celtics will feed on their crowd in the 4th quarter tonight.
We think that they will pull away late. The play is on Boston.
AAA Sports' Selection: Philadelphia Flyers/Carolina Hurricanes (UNDER).
Philadelphia shut down Pittsburgh, allowing 11 goals in the six games of that series.
Nine of the Flyers L13 games against opponents from within the Metro Division have gone UNDER the total.
Carolina is also turning it up defensively. It allowed five goals in four games played against the Sens.
The Hurricanes are the big favorite and we're anticipating this game to be another low scoring match.
The play is on the UNDER.
AAA Sports' Selection: Milwaukee Brewers/Washington Nationals (OVER).
Milwaukee will start Kyle Harrison -- has looked extremely sharp, there's no question about it. But, he has been slightly worse on the road.
The Brewers average 5.35 runs a game which is the third highest mark in the MLB this season.
Washington will start Foster Griffin -- has also been really good, but slightly worse at home.
The Nationals average 5.33 runs a game this year which is the 4th highest mark in the MLB.
12 of the L15 games between these two teams have gone OVER. We like that trend to continue, even with the good pitchers.
The play is on the OVER.
AAA Sports' Selection: Chicago Cubs (ML).
Arizona will start Ryne Nelson -- he has been bad so far this year, with a 1-2 record + 7.71 earned run average.
Nelson also has a 6.88 earned run average in five games against the Cubs in his career.
The Diamondbacks have lost five of their L7 games played this season.
Chicago will start Shota Imanaga -- has been terrific again so far and has a 2.50 earned run average at home so far.
The Cubs have won nine straight games played at home.
We're on them to make it 10 straight here.
AAA Sports' Selection: 1. SC Union Berlin (ATS).
FC Koln ranks 14th in the Bundesliga standings. It lost it's last match against Leverkusen at home and will now be on the road.
Koln hasn't won a road game since October, losing or drawing in 11 road games since then.
It's won just seven games this season in 31 games -- 23% of the time.
Union Berlins ranks one spot above Koln in the standings. Not that much better, but still better.
It beat Koln back in December on the road in the reverse fixture.
The play is Union Berlin.
AAA Sports' Selection: Baltimore Orioles (ML).
Baltimore will start Kyle Bradish -- he got an extra day of rest with Povich throwing yesterday.
Bradish doesn't have the best statistics out there. But, he's shut down the Yankees lately, allowing four runs over his L4 starts in 20 and two thirds of an inning.
The Orioles are not having a great season so far. But, neither are the Yanks. This is a great spot for them to finally beat them on the road again.
New York will start Ryan Weathers -- he has very solid stats, but he's been slightly worse here at Yankee Stadium than others.
The Yanks are not a contact team at all. They love to hit the long ball and Bradish does a good job at limiting HR's.
We're on Baltimore.
AAA Sports' Selection: Kevin Christian (ML).
Kevin Christian is coming off a loss. But, he had six straight wins before that one.
He's not only a striker, but has an excellent ground game, with five submission wins in his career.
Christian will be the taller fighter by four inches, but also has an incredibly long reach of 80 inches, eight inches longer than his opponent.
Junior Tafa isn't very good and has a 6-5 record in his fighting career.
He's been susceptible to the submission, being submitted three times so far.
We're on the underdog.
