1* Free Sharp Play on Reds +125

The Reds (+125) are worth a look as a short road dog against the Indians in Wednesday's MLB action. Cincinnati got back in the win column Tuesday with a 5-4 win against Cleveland and are now 6-3 over their last 9 games. Indians have dropped 4 of their last 5. Numbers aren't great for Reds' starter Tyler Mahle (5.16 ERA and 1.446 WHIP in 8 starts), but in his last 2 starts he's given up just 4 runs on 6 hits with 14 Ks in 11 innings of work. Look for the Reds to stay hot and get a win. Play Cincinnati +125!

MLB | Astros vs Red Sox
Play on: Red Sox +126 at Ace

This is a play on the BOSTON RED SOX for our Wednesday Free Play. Houston bounces back from a loss on Monday and throttled Boston 13-4 as put up nine runs in the second inning and never looked back. The Astros are 6-2 on this current nine-game roadtrip and are 15-9 on the road for the season and this line that opened has and is going to continue to have the public on Houston. The offense broke out for 11 hits on Sunday and then the Tuesday barrage but the Astros offense has been a letdown thus far as they are ranked No. 17 in batting average and they are hitting just .233 on the road. Luis Garcia has been dominant in the Houston rotation but Boston has the bats to get to him as it is No. 12 in hitting. The Astros are 2-5 in their last seven games against American League East teams. The Red Sox are off to a rough start as they are in last place in the American League East with a 14-22 record which is 12 games behind the Yankees. Boston lost on Sunday to the Rangers which prevented a series sweep but did finish a respectable 3-2 on the roadtrip. Fenway Park has not been too kind thus far as the Red Sox are 5-10 at home and those five home wins are tied for the fewest in baseball but they have also played close to the fewest home games in all of baseball. After a slow start, Nich Pivetta has been great as he has a 2.08 ERA over his last three starts including two straight quality outings. The Red Sox are 4-1 in their last five games against right-handed starters. Here, we play on underdogs with a money line of +125 to +175 after a loss by six runs or more going up against an opponent after a combined score of 17 runs or more. This situation is 35-21 (62.5 percent) over the last five seasons. Play (920) Boston Red Sox

NHL 11-4 postseason start! 371-324 +$22,321 record since 2018 while the NBA is 91-79 L170 Plays. Both are back in action on Wednesday after a 2-0 Tuesday as the postseason is heating up so do not miss a single play and grab a subscription to get all of these winners! Baseball is ready for a big surge and we are expecting a big week following an awesome short-term run.

1* MLB - Astros/Red Sox FREE PICK on Astros -130

Wednesday's Free MLB Pick is on the Houston Astros as a -130 road favorite against the Boston Red Sox. Houston is rolling right now. Astros have won 13 of their last 15, including a 13-4 win against Boston on Tuesday. Love the spot here. Astros starter Luis Garcia has posted a 1.20 ERA in 3 road starts, while Red Sox starter Nick Pivetta has a 6.75 ERA and 1.917 WHIP in 3 home starts. Boston has lost all 3 of those starts. Houston is 16-4 on the season vs AL teams who are slugging .410 or worse. Boston comes into this one with a team SLG% of just .365. Bet the Astros -130!

MLB | Yankees vs Orioles
Play on: Yankees -1½ -150 at circa

The Yankees are the best team in baseball and have their best pitcher going. They have dominated the Orioles, their favorite patsy, winning 39 of the last 52 games against them.

So, yeah, I feel fine laying 1 1/2 runs with visiting New York on the run line.

The Yankees are 22-4 in their last 26 games. Gerrit Cole takes the ball for the Yankees. He's back in his elite groove after a slow start with a 1.42 ERA in his last four starts. Cole has a 4-1 lifetime mark against Baltimore with a 1.41 ERA and a 64-to-nine strikeout-to-walk ratio in 44 2/3 innings.

The Orioles are pitching Jordan Lyles, who has a losing record and 4.38 ERA. Lyles has to deal with a Yankee lineup that ranks No. 2 in homers and has scored the third-most runs. Baltimore is back playing bad, dropping its past five games.

(Editor's note: Stephen Nover is 21-11 on his NBA playoff plays and is unbeaten on his May MLB totals. Stephen has a strong play on tonight's Mavericks-Warriors matchup and his baseball Total of the Week going in addition to this free selection.)

Play on: OVER 7½ +110

Jack's Free Pick Wednesday: Angels/Rangers OVER 7.5

Teams are starting to score some runs now that the weather is warming up and the baseballs are flying further.  That's especially the case for the Rangers, who have scored 7 runs or more in three consecutive games.  The OVER is 5-1-2 in Rangers last eight games overall.

The Angels are one of the most improved offensive teams in baseball as they have managed to stay healthy thus far.  They are scoring 4.9 runs per game on the season and 5.0 runs per game on the road.  They have combined for 11 and 15 runs with Texas in the first two games of this series.  This 7.5-run total has been set too low in Game 3 tonight.

Shohei Ohtani faced the Rangers once already this season and it was his worst start of the year.  He allowed 6 earned runs in 3 2/3 innings of a 10-5 defeat on April 14th.  Dane Dunning is 1-2 with a 7.13 ERA and 1.698 WHIP in four career starts against the Angels as well.

The OVER is 6-0-2 in the last eight meetings in this series.  The Rangers and Angels have combined for 9 or more runs in all eight meetings.  It will be more of the same tonight.  Bet the OVER in this game Wednesday.

MLB | Angels vs Rangers
Play on: Angels -155 at SC Consensus

Wednesday's MLB Free Pick: Los Angeles Angels -155

I'll take my chances with the Angels as a -155 road favorite against the Rangers on Wednesday. LA is going to be highly motivated to avoid getting swept in this series and they got just the guy on the mound to make sure that doesn't happen.

Shohei Ohtani is set to make his seventh start of the season. He's 3-2 with a 2.78 ERA and 0.959 WHIP in his first 6 starts. He's got a 1.50 ERA and 0.889 WHIP in his last 3 starts. Ohtani's only subpar outing of the season came at Texas back in his second start. There will be no overlooking the Rangers the second time around and he had pitched very well against Texas in his previous 4 starts against them.

Dane Dunning will be on the rubber for the Rangers. He's been solid so far in 2022, but is coming off a poor outing at home against the Red Sox, where he gave up 5 runs in 5 2/3 innings. The other big thing here is Dunning's struggles against the Angels. He's got a 7.13 ERA and 1.698 WHIP in 4 career starts vs LA. Give me the Angels -155!

Confidence Rating: 5 (Scale of 1-10)

MLB | Angels vs Rangers
Play on: Angels -172 at Ace

My free play is on the LA Angels at 8:05 ET.

The Angels are coming off a 77-85 season and the franchise's only World Series title came back in 2002. I'm sure it seems like even more than two decades ago to Angel fans, as the team has missed the postseason 11 times in the last 12 years (got swept 3-0 in a 2014 ALDS in its lone appearance in that span). The Rangers appeared in back-to-back World Series in 2010 and 2011 (lost both) but continued to be competitive, making the playoffs in THREE of the next five seasons. However, it's been FIVE consecutive losing seasons for Texas since 2017. The two AL West teams began a three-game series in Texas Monday night with the Angels checking in at 24-13 and the Rangers at 14-19. However, the Rangers have won the first two games 7-4 and 10-5.

Shohei Ohtani (3-2, 2.78 ERA) makes his seventh start of the season in the series finale, as the Angels look to avoid a 3-game sweep at the hand of the Rangers. Texas counters with Dane Dunning (1-2, 4.06 ERA) on the mound. Ohtani and Dunning met earlier this season, on April 14, also in Texas. The Rangers won 10-5 that day, with Dunning not involved in the decision, as he worked only 3.2 innings, giving up two runs. In contrast, Ohtani was tagged with the loss, after giving up SIX runs (all earned) in just 3.2 innings. However, Ohtani has allowed just three ERs in his last four starts. Dunning was just 5-10 with a 4.51 ERA and 1.44 WHIP as a rookie last season and the Rangers are 3-4 in his 2022 starts.

Ohtani was ripped by Texas back on April 14th, but he was 3-0 (team was 4-0) in his previous four career starts against Texas. Meanwhile, the Rangers are 2-2 in Dunning's four career starts against the Angels, but he owns a 7.13 ERA and 1.70 WHIP. No sweep here, as Ohtani over Dunning is the play.

Good luck...Larry

MLB | Angels vs Rangers
Play on: Angels -154 at linepros

Wednesday MLB Free play. My selection is on Los Angeles over Texas at 8:05 pm et on Wednesday.

The Angels appeared to have last night's game in hand, up 4-3 entering the bottom of the eighth inning but things unravelled from there as they allowed seven runs in the eighth and went on to lose 10-5. I do look for them to salvage the finale of this series on Wednesday as they send Shohei Ohtani to the hill against Dane Dunning. This is a 'revenge game' of sorts for Ohtani as he looks to avenge his worst start of the season - a 10-5 loss here in Texas back in April. That was Ohtani's second start of the season and he's worked things out since, allowing just three earned runs on 14 hits over 24 innings since. The Angels have won four of Ohtani's five career starts against the Rangers. Dane Dunning will counter for Texas. He was on the mound for that 10-5 victory over Ohtani and the Angels in April but didn't pitch particularly well, allowing six hits and two earned runs before exiting in the fourth inning. In four career outings against the Angels, Dunning has recorded a 7.13 ERA and 1.70 WHIP. The Angels bullpen imploded late in last night's game but had previously pitched well this season, particularly on the road where it owned a 2.30 ERA and 0.92 WHIP with only one blown save. Take Los Angeles.

Sean delivered a 2-0 NBA SWEEP last night (Heat and 'over') and he's back with a 10* TOP RATED selection in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals on Wednesday as his RED HOT 23-9 NBA playoff run (incl. free) and long-term 215-171 NBA tear continues! Plus he has his FIRST 10* big ticket of the NHL's second round; grab a subscription package today!
