NCAA-B | Iowa State vs Texas Tech
Play on: Iowa State +1½ -105 at betonline

10* Free NCAAB Pick (Iowa State +1.5)

The Cyclones are worth a look here at basically a pick'em against the Red Raiders. Texas Tech is 15-2 at home, covered the spread in 5 straight games and gave Iowa State all they could handle in Ames earlier this season. It certainly seems like the books are begging for you to jump on the home team in this one. What a lot of people will overlook is the Red Raiders are coming off a double-overtime loss to West Virginia on Saturday. Not only is that a difficult loss to bounce back from emotionally, it will be even more challenging rebounding with just 1-day of rest. They had 3 starters log over 40 minutes, two more played 30+ and two more at 20+. For a team that only uses a 7-man rotation, I think their attempt at revenge will be spoiled by an Iowa State team that is playing some of the best basketball of the season right now. Give me the Cyclones +1.5!

1* Free Play Boston College.

Looks like a good spot to pull the trigger on the underdog tonight and while we’ll stop short in calling for the outright upset, we do definitely believe this is a few too many points to be giving up in this circumstance. BC comes in off a hard-fought 84-76 home loss to Notre Dame, while Florida State enters off a deflating 80-66 setback to Pittsburgh. It was a bit of a bitter pill to swallow for the Eagles last time out as they let a ten-point halftime lead slip away. So far BC averages 72.6 PPG and allows the exact same amount. FSU averages 83.6 PPG and allows 71.4. However the Seminoles looked extremely average in the setback to the Panthers, allowing Pittsburgh to hit 55 percent from the floor. Note that BC is 7-2 ATS in its last nine following an ATS victory, while FSU is just 1-3 ATS this year off a loss against a conference rival. The Eagles last three road losses have come by 11 points or fewer and they’ve scored 76 points or more if five of their last eight. We’ll recommend a second look at BOSTON COLLEGE on Monday night.

Scott Rickenbach

NCAA-B | Miami (Fla) vs Virginia
Play on: Miami (Fla) +9½ -105 at betonline

This is the first of FOUR Picks in CBB Monday for Scott "The Bulldog" Rickenbach. This one is a Free Pick but the other three are ALL star rated picks. Don't miss any of the action as, off of a rare down week in CBB, the likelihood of a bounce back this week is VERY HIGH given Rickenbach's long-term numbers! Also, in addition to CBB Monday, The Bulldog has a PAIR of star rated picks in the NHL where he has been RED HOT just like the NBA! Though he only went 3-3 with star rated picks Sunday, Rickenbach ranks as the #1 ALL SPORTS LEADER for net profits in 2017 on multiple networks and has current all sports premium pick streaks going of 86-52 (+$33,510) short-term and 117-69 (+$47,920) long-term! Rickenbach, after a rare sub-par CBB week, responds HUGE this week and it all begins with BIG Monday!

Free Pick - Rickenbach CBB Game #703 Monday Free Pick on Miami Hurricanes (+) @ Virginia Cavaliers @ 7 ET - Even without Ja'Quan Newton (suspended), the Hurricanes are playing well and come into this match-up at Virginia off of back to back wins. Though this will certainly be a tough test for Miami, the Canes are catching the Cavaliers at the right time. The Cavs come into this game struggling to score points as they don't have much of an interior game on offense so when the perimeter shots aren't falling it becomes a disaster for Virginia Tech. What makes the situation even tougher for the Cavaliers here is the fact that Miami does play solid defense and is allowing only 64 points per game on the season. That said, I just don't see the Cavs as being able to get much of a margin in this game. Virginia has lost 5 of its last 7 games and they've been held to just 62 points or less in 4 of those 5 defeats. The Cavaliers are 6-10 ATS when playing with 1 day or less of rest between games. The Hurricanes are a perfect 2-0 on the ACC road so far this month and I expect a 3rd straight cover here as all the pressure is on Virginia to respond here after three straight losses and that certainly isn't going to make the outside shooting come any easier for the Cavs as pressure doesn't help shooting form from the outside. One final factor here is that the Canes were knocked out of the ACC Tourney by the Cavaliers last March. The Hurricanes may not get their revenge here but they are certainly motivated by it and I don't foresee them falling short by much in this one. The last 3 meetings have all been decided by single digits and the average margin has been just 5.3 points. Look for more of the same in this one as it proves to be another tight game. Free Pick on Miami plus the big points early Monday evening. Best of luck, Scott "The Bulldog" Rickenbach

Odds makers are clearly believing that Florida St will bounce back in a big way after their back to back losses.  While they may do so I just don't see the motivation for them to blow Boston College out.  Florida St at this point in the season doesn't need to make a statement game by any means.  This team is already in the tournament so they have nothing to worry about.  I give BC a lot of credit here despite their record, they do show up and play hard.  They lost by 1 @ Miami, by 6 @ Va Tech, 11 @ Duke.  This is a ton of points for a team who doesn't have any motivation attached to this game what so ever.

NCAA-B | Texas vs West Virginia
Play on: West Virginia -15 -110 at GTBets

Lay the points with the West Virginia Mountaineers minus the points versus the Texas Longhorns. At first glance, it might look easy to take Texas (10-17) as big double-digit dog on the road when considering that they narrowly losses to the Mountaineers in their first encounter this season by a 74-72 score. But the Longhorns stayed competitive in that game by shooting 47.9% from the field. Don’t expect a similar performance tonight considering that Shaka Smart’s team shoots only 43.4% when on the road. And this Texas team wilted against “Press” Virginia by turning the ball over 19 times in 26.4% of their possessions in that contest. That is something that could very well repeat itself with the Longhorns playing in the hostile Morgantown environment tonight. Texas is 8th in the Big 12 by turning the ball over in 21.8% of their possessions. West Virginia leads the nation by forcing turnovers in 29.4% of their opponent’s possessions. The Longhorns have not played the underdog role well either having failed to cover the point spread in 4 of their last 5 games when getting the points. West Virginia (21-6) has covered the point spread in three of their last four games with their 83-74 win over Texas Tech on Saturday as a 10-point favorite. The Mountaineers have covered point spread expectations after failing to cover the point spread in 15 of their last 22 games after a point spread loss. Lay the points with West Virginia. Best of luck — Frank.

SIM Algorithm High-Level Overview

3* graded play on Virginia (704) as they take on Miami (FLA) in ACC action set to start at 7:00 PM ET. SIM algorithm shows a 70% probability that UVA will win this game by more than 8 points to their fourth straight Conference loss. You may notice that we are showing a more precise probability assigned to each of our plays. This is an information-based statement and in no way should it change the amount you wager on each game. The ‘star’ rating remains the investment foundation. However, it is helpful to know what the specific projections are that build into that final probability metric and we will be adding those details in the weeks ahead of the MLB season.

Technical Discussion Points Supporting this graded play is a proven system posting a 75-11 mark good for 87% winners and has made 49 units/unit wagered since 1997. Play on favorites of -165 to -500 using the money line (VIRGINIA) that us an excellent defensive team allowing 63 or fewer PPG against a good defensive team allowing between 63 and 67 PPG and after 15+ games, and after scoring 50 points or less in their previous game. Truly a bounce-back type of system supporting a great defensive team. Even though the Cavaliers have been poor on the offensive end, they are significantly more talented than their recent shooting woes would indicate. We fully expect them to use their nation-best defense to generate scoring opportunities in transition.

Ryan has $1,000/game bettors having made $17,250.

Advanced and Predictive Analytics Discussion Points

The following game situations match the SIM projections and my compiled research for the outcome of this game.

UVA is a solid 13-4 ATS (+8.6 Units) when they make 47% to 53% of their shots in a game over the last 2 seasons.

UVA is 10-2 ATS (+7.8 Units) in home games when they commit 3 to 7 fewer turnovers than their opponents over the last 3 seasons.

UVA is 46-28 ATS (+15.2 Units) in home games when they grab 34 to 39 rebounds in a game since 1997.

Fundamental Discussion Points If you are new to my service and wager methodologies, I utilize several methods of artificial intelligence ranging from back propagation to decision trees and weighted simulated projections. So, when these align, then I get the graded play. In this case, it clearly shows a solid reason to get on board the Cavaliers.

Ryan has TWO NCAA Titans graded by his proven SIM Algorithm and further supported by a host of high-powered advanced and predictive analytics. Dime Players have made $17K over the past 12 months, so do yourself a favor and get on board the money train.

Texas +16 vs. West Virginia

I love this line for Texas this should be a hard line for West Virginia to cover on Monday. West Virginia is only 5-6 ATS at home and haven't covered a line bigger than 8 points in conference this season. Texas is 6-6 ATS on the road this season and 11 is the biggest line they haven't covered in conference play this season. The first time these two played this season Texas held their own only losing by 2 points, I don't see this game being this close this time around with the game being at West Virginia but it shouldn't get to far out of line in this one. I am going all in on Texas in this Monday game and you should too!

Free Play from Doc’s Sports. #704 Take Virginia over Miami (7 pm ESPN) Much like Wisconsin yesterday, the odds makers have making it very inviting for you to take Miami in this game. Maryland looked attractive yesterday against a 7 point spread but the Badgers covered that game and expect Virginia to do the same thing tonight in Charlottesville. Virginia is coming off a terrible performance against North Carolina last time out. Their defense was fine in that game they just could not make a shot to save their life. That will change tonight at home and I expect them to win this game by 13-15 points. Do not miss out on Doc’s Sports Big Monday card. NCAA-B | Miami (Fla) vs Virginia
Play on: Miami (Fla) +9½ -110 at 5Dimes

Jack's Free Pick Monday: Miami +9.5

The Miami Hurricanes are squarely on the bubble of the NCAA Tournament.  They could use a signature win here at Virginia, and it's clear that the Cavaliers are ripe for the picking right now with the way they are playing coming in.

Indeed, Virginia is 0-3 SU & 0-3 ATS in its last three games overall.  It lost in overtime at Virginia Tech as favorites, lost by 10 at home to Duke as favorites, and was pummeled 41-65 at North Carolina over the weekend.  The Cavaliers have been terrible offensively, shooting 42.4% against VA Tech, 36.8% against Duke and 27.8% against UNC.

The Hurricanes have put themselves on the good side of the bubble thanks to going 6-2 in their last eight games overall.  One of the losses was a 5-point loss at Louisville as 8.5-point dogs.  The Hurricanes have shot 44.2% or better from the field in each of their last six games, topping 50% three times.

Virginia is only 6-19 ATS in its last 25 off a road loss by 20 points or more.  Miami is 11-3 ATS as a road underdog or PK over the last three seasons.  The Hurricanes are 13-4 ATS in their last 17 games as a road underdog of 7.0-12.5 points.  Bet Miami Monday.

NCAA-B | Texas vs West Virginia
Play on: Texas +15½ -107 at 5Dimes

Free Pick on Texas +

I really like the value here with the Longhorns as a massive road dog against the Mountaineers. Texas comes in with a 10-17 overall record, but this team has been a lot more competitive than that record would suggest. While they are just 4-10 in Big 12 play, their largest loss in conference play is 15 points and 4 of those losses have come by 4-points or less. That includes a 72-74 loss at home to this same West Virginia team back on 1/14.

I just feel the books have really over-adjusted this line given the situation. While both teams are playing on just 1-day rest, West Virginia comes in off a double-overtime win at home against Texas Tech. The Mountaineers basically used a 6-man rotation for that game. They had 5 players play 33 or more points with 3 eclipsing 40 minutes. Only two other players reached double-digits in minutes played and one of those was Watkins with just 13 minutes off the bench. For a team that loves to put pressure on their opponents, I just don't see the Mountaineers having the energy here to turn this into a blowout. Take Texas!
