Pepperdine vs. Loyola Marymount
Loyola Marymount
-10-110
  at  BETUS
Tie
After ripping off eight consecutive pointspread wins, Loyola Marymount failed to cover at home against Portland on Saturday night. It's time to start a new streak.

Pepperdine enters this contest off a rare home win over Santa Clara. Before that victory, the Waves had been in a funk dropping eight straight (2-6 ATS). This isn't the best technical spot for Peppy either. As a conference road dog priced at +6' or more, the Waves have produced a calm 2-40 SU and 14-26-2 ATS record including a nasty 0-26 SU and 6-18-2 ATS in this set battling a foe that carries a won/loss percentage of .575 or better.

Resting in the No. 3 spot in the West Coast Conference with a 6-3 SU record, the Lions need this game badly. After Saturday's home war against San Francisco, LMU hits the road for three straight at Portland, Gonzaga and St. Mary's! Those will all be tough games and an 0-3 SU is a distinct possibility.

Rest assured, the Lions will do two things tonight that will help them cover this number - defend the three and connect on shots from the charity stripe. So far this season, Loyola Marymount has been a force defensively especially from behind the arc and has limited foes to just 28.6 percent from "downtown". Free throws have tickled the twine too. Loyola is ranked No. 1 in the WCC with a 73.4 percent free-throw percentage.

The return of junior Jarred DuBois will help Loyola immensely too. Out with a concussion for three games, DuBois returned to the lineup on Saturday and poured in 18 points in the Lions victory over Portland. With the Well Fargo PCH Cup present, LMU will continue its winning ways. Take Loyola Marymount. Thank you and best of luck, Tom Stryker.

Arizona St vs. Stanford
Stanford
-14½-110
  at  BETUS
Won

Resting a full two games behind the leader in the Pac 12 conference and off three consecutive SU and ATS losses to Washington State, Washington and California, Stanford will approach this game with a sense of urgency. This will be the Cardinal's only contest against ASU this season and they're going to make the most of it.

Off a rare 71-67 home win over Washington State, this will be a tough trip for Arizona State. The Sun Devils haven't won back-to-back contests all season long and they've struggled something fierce on the road. According to my college basketball database, ASU is a bankroll-busting 12-27 ATS in its last 39 lined games after tasting a straight up victory (most recently 6-13 SU and 3-15 ATS in its last 19) including a woeful 2-12 ATS in this set priced as an underdog or a favorite of -1' or less. Overall, head coach Herb Sendek's kids are a dismal 20-40 ATS in their last 60 lined games including a disturbing 3-18 SU and ATS in this set battling an opponent that carries a won/loss percentage of .660 or better.

Historically speaking, this has been a tremendous spot for the Tree's. Since March of 1993, Stanford has played extremely well at home checking in off two or more straight up losses posting a solid 24-7 SU and 21-7-3 ATS record including a rewarding 18-3-1 ATS in this set taking on a foe that holds a won/loss percentage less than .650. With those two parameters live and the Cardinal sporting a won/loss percentage of .650 or better, this team trend hits perfection at 13-0 SU and 12-0-1 ATS! Please note: Those 13 wins came by an average of 15.9 points per game!

Four of Stanford's next six games are inside the friendly confines of Maples Pavilion and the Cardinal needs to make them count. Matched up against this poor-traveling ASU bunch, head coach Johnny Dawkins' troops will roll. Take Stanford. Thank you and best of luck, Tom Stryker.
