I like the Phillies to win this one on the road against the Brewers in a NATIONAL LEAGUE clash. The Phillies are 5-1 their L6 and are ready for a big road trip in Milwaukee. The Brewers return home after a long road trip and I suspect some lag from them. The Phillies are sending one of their aces in Ranger Suarez who is FAR better on the road than at home. He is 2-0 his L2 road starts allowing just 1 ER across 10 IP. Aaron Civale is on the hill for the Brewers who has allowed A LOT of sharp contact with a HR in 3 of his L4 appearances. He has a 3.38 ERA his L4 starts and has little to no experience against this Phillies lineup. Philadelphia is 53-36 following a win and 64-39 in league games. I like the Guardians to win this one at home against the Twins. It is serious crunch time for the Guards with a 4 game lead in the division and I look for them to build on this against the Twins. The Guardians have had the upper hand on the Twins this season winning 7 out of the 9 times they played this season, including 3-0 at home. Pablo Lopez is on the hill for the Twins who has pitched in high scoring games as of late, and regression is coming. He has been great but these are against teams that are under .500 or are completely eliminated from the playoffs. Matthew Boyd has been great for Cleveland posting a 2-1 record and 1.61 ERA in his L4 starts and should have a STRONG showing at home. I like this game between the Eagles and Falcons to go UNDER the total. 46 points may seem a little low considering how high powered this Eagles offense is, however I expect a STRONG run game from Philly. The Falcons made a few key stops that forced the Steelers out of scoring range last week and I look for them to make a few stops to prevent TDs this week. The Eagles defense definitely looked a little lackluster against the Packers however that game was in Brazil and are up against a much more one dimensional offense led by Kirk Cousins.  These teams have played the UNDER in 5 straight and the last 3 in Philadelphia stayed UNDER 40. I like the Eagles to cover this spread at home against the Falcons in this NFC Clash. The Eagles will be without AJ Brown in this contest however the Eagles have a number of weapons in Devonta Smith, Jahan Dotson and Saquon Barkley. The Falcons biggest weakness in their season opener was their inability to stop the run where they allowed 137 yards on the ground. In addition to this, they struggled on 3rd downs going just 2-9 (22%) and Kirk Cousins looked SLOW. He threw 2 interceptions and will be going up against a much stronger D-Line in Philly. The Eagles are not only well rested, but they are 6-2 ATS at home since 2023 and 6-1 ATS as a home favorite in this same time frame. Lay the points with the Eagles here. -Joey Tron
