Dave's Wednesday Free Play:
1* on A's +132
The Key: The A's are 5-1 in their last 6 games overall with 5 upset victories. I like the price we are getting on the A's again tonight. Jeffrey Springs is 1-0 with a 1.45 ERA and 0.91 WHIP in 4 lifetime starts against the Mariners, yielding only 3 ER in 18 2/3 innings. Bryan Woo yielded 5 ER in 6 innings in his last start in Sacramento on May 7th. Take the A's.

FRANK’S CUTTING ROOM FLOOR FOR WEDNESDAY, 7/30:
My “Cutting Room Floor” plays are the situations I considered the closest to being worthy of investment but did not make the “final cut” for my official plays today for subscribers. The last play I cut for Wednesday is with Over the Total in the game between the Seattle Mariners and the Athletics. Seattle (57-51) has lost two of their last three games after their 6-1 loss on the road against the Athletics last night. The Mariners have played 8 of their last 9 road games Over the Total after failing to score more than one run in their last game. They have also played 12 of their last 16 road games Over the Total with the Total set in the 9-9.5 range. The Athletics (47-63) has won five of their last six games. They have played 11 of their last 15 home games Over the Total when priced as a money-line underdog in the +125 to +175 price range. They have also played 39 of their last 69 games Over the Total at night. Take the Over. Best of luck — Frank.
Frank Sawyer comes off a 1-1 MLB split on Tuesday — CA$HING with the LA Angels but losing the Mariners-Athletics Over. Now Frank closes out his Wednesday MLB card with a SUPER SIDE SITUATION! Want ONE MORE WINNER for Wednesday? BANK on Frank!
T.M. Selection: Mariners/A's UNDER.
Seattle won the opener of this divisional series by a score of 3-1, before the A's then bounced back last night with a 6-1 victory. The first two games have featured some great starting pitching and all signs point to that being the case here in the finale as well. Bryan Woo is 8-5 with a 2.91 ERA and 0.95 WHIP for the Mariners, while Jeffrey Springs is 9-7 with a 4.13 ERA and 1.20 WHIP for the A's. I'm expecting another "duel" here like the first two games, so I'll recommend a second look at the "under" in this one.
T.M. Prediction: 3-2 Seattle.
