Jack's Free Pick Friday: Milwaukee Brewers -1.5 (-110)
The Milwaukee Brewers have a big advantage on the mound tonight over the Philadelphia Phillies that should have them winning this game by multiple runs. They also have the much more potent offense despite not having the big names Philadelphia does. The Brewers are scoring 5.3 runs per game this season compared to 4.1 runs per game for the Phillies.
Jacob Misiorowski has been the most dominant starter in baseball. He is 7-2 with a 1.50 ERA and 0.81 WHIP in 13 starts this season. He has allowed just 13 earned runs and 4 homers in 78 innings with a whopping 116 K's.
Andrew Painter has been the weakest link in this Philadelphia rotation. He is 1-7 with a 6.21 ERA and 1.57 WHIP in 12 games this season while allowing 40 earned runs and 11 homers in 58 innings. Painter is 0-3 with a 6.65 ERA and 1.87 WHIP in five road starts as well. Bet the Brewers on the Run Line Friday.

Friday’s FREE WINNER; Milwaukee Brewers on the run line.
Game 908.
4:40 PM PST/7:40 PM EST.
The Milwaukee Brewers have very quietly taken full control of the National League Central, sitting atop division with a 4.0-game cushion. They are only one of five teams in the Majors playing better than .600 ball (.621). They have played solid baseball basically since the Opening Day of this season. They’re equally good on the road as they are at home. However, at home they have been almost unstoppable, sporting a 21-13 record at American Family Field in 2026. They do enter this game dropping their last two outings. However, prior to that they won four in a row and six of their previous eight overall contests. As a matter of fact, both at the plate and on the mound, they rank among the best in baseball. Their offense ranks in the top-10 and just about every major offensive category, scoring 5.33 runs per game, possessing a team batting average of .254, owning an on-base plus slugging percentage of .729, and ranking third in all of baseball in stolen bases. That would be enough for me, here. But their pitching staff ranks fourth in baseball with a team ERA of 3.47. They face a very erratic and inconsistent Philadelphia Phillies opponent. Yes, Philadelphia sits in second place in the East. But their numbers are downright ugly. They are 24th in scoring, 29th in team batting average, 27th in OPS, and 13th in team ERA. They have been dominated by today’s opponent, dropping five of the last seven overall matchups, going back to September 2024. Today’s starting pitchers are scheduled to be Andrew Painter and Jacob Misiorowski. The Philadelphia right-hander is just 1-7 this season with an ERA of 6.21, as the team has dropped nine of his last 10 appearances. On the road, he is winless going 0-3 with a 6.65 ERA. The Milwaukee right-hander is 7-2 with an anemic ERA of 1.50 this season. Over his last seven starts, he has an astounding ERA of just 0.20. Oh, and by the way, the team has won six of his last seven turns, as the hurler has not allowed more than one earned run in any outing over that time span. Very simply, the Brewers are playing at home, score more than the Phillies, and certainly allow less. They have dominated this rivalry, and are looking to bounce back following two straight losses. The last time they dropped back-to-back games, they came back to win four straight. Take the Milwaukee Brewers on the line. Thank you.
